USB, GMSL, IP65 and module
* The D450 Series has an ideal operating range of 0.6 m to 6 m. Current RealSense specifications rate depth accuracy at <2% at 4 m. Perception Studio can extend close-range depth to under 12 cm across the D400-series family on NVIDIA Jetson.
The RealSense™ D430 Series brings wide-field-of-view, global-shutter stereo depth to one of our most flexible camera families. Choose from RGB, matched global-shutter RGB, IMU, IR-pass filtering, USB and GMSL configurations, available as complete cameras or modules for custom integration. Powered by the RealSense™ Vision Processor D4, the D430 Series performs depth processing onboard and delivers high-quality 3D data across robotics, industrial automation, inspection, analysis and other vision applications. Its ideal operating range is 0.3 m to 3 m, with enhanced close-range performance to approximately 12 cm through Perception Studio.
HARDWARE
One Depth Platform. Multiple Configurations.
For robots, inspection, analysis and more, the D430 Series combines a common wide-FOV stereo depth architecture with configurations designed for different deployment requirements.
=is used in deployed robotics ranging from humanoids to industrial automation.
D455
$419
The long-range all-around choice. Twice the ideal range of the D435, with wide-FOV global-shutter depth, matched global-shutter RGB and an integrated IMU in a compact USB peripheral.
D455f
$439
Long range with IR-pass depth filtering. Adds a 750 nm near-infrared pass filter over the depth imagers to improve robustness where reflections and challenging visible-light conditions can create depth artifacts.
D456
$469
Rugged USB deployment. Packages the D455 architecture in an IP65-rated enclosure with USB connectivity for industrial, outdoor and other environments that need protection from dust and projected water.
D457
$499
Rugged GMSL/FAKRA deployment. Combines the D455 long-range optical architecture with an IP65-rated enclosure and GMSL/FAKRA connectivity for secure, low-latency industrial and robotic installations.
D450
For custom integration. The optical module at the core of the D455 family includes the global-shutter stereo pair and matched global-shutter RGB. Pair it with a compatible D4 board for USB/IMU or GMSL/FAKRA integration.

Built for Real-World Physical AI
Twice the Reach
A 95 mm stereo baseline extends the D455 family to an ideal range of 0.6 m to 6 m while maintaining a wide 87° × 58° depth field of view. That additional reach gives moving robots, industrial systems and spatial applications more distance to perceive obstacles, people and scene geometry.
Matched Global-Shutter RGB
The D450 architecture pairs global-shutter RGB with global-shutter stereo depth, with closely matched fields of view. Color and depth therefore describe the same scene more consistently during motion, supporting object recognition, mapping, scanning, teleoperation and AI perception pipelines.

Industrial Deployment Options
D456 and D457 add IP65-rated housings for deployments exposed to dust and projected water. D457 also adds GMSL/FAKRA, supporting long cable runs and secure automotive-style connectors while offering lower latency and improved EMI characteristics compared with USB for distributed robotic systems. These options bring industrial-grade durability and connectivity to advanced robotic deployments.
IR-Pass Vision
D455f adds a 750 nm near-infrared pass filter over the depth imagers. The filter is designed to reduce depth artifacts caused by reflections and repetitive patterns, improving robustness in challenging lighting environments.
