Joel Hagberg is vice president of product management at RealSense, where he leads product strategy, lifecycle management and customer support for the company’s advanced computer vision and biometric solutions. A seasoned Silicon Valley veteran, Hagberg plays a pivotal role in driving customer success, supporting global sales and ensuring product development aligns with real-world demand and market opportunity.
Hagberg is responsible for the full product lifecycle — from roadmap and feature definition to qualification, production and end-of-life planning. He bridges the gap between engineering and customer needs, translating technical feedback into actionable product decisions, while helping sales teams win business with the right tools, presentations and production plans in place. He also leads RealSense’s customer support operations, ensuring seamless post-sale engagement and solution delivery.
Before joining RealSense, Hagberg held senior product leadership roles at Toshiba, Fujitsu and Seagate, managing multi-billion-dollar storage portfolios. As head of product management and marketing at Intel, Hagberg oversaw the product lines for computer vision AI depth applications, including stereo vision, facial authentication and VSLAM technology. He helped grow the business significantly, bringing structure to product management and partnering with customers across sectors including robotics, biometrics and industrial automation.
