Eyal Rond serves as Vice President of AI and Computer Vision. A product visionary and technology leader, Rond is driving RealSense ID’s mission to become the platform of choice for biometric access control, delivering AI-powered solutions that are transparent, private and secure.
Rond leads a multidisciplinary R&D team across software, research, devices and systems while defining the product roadmap and scaling partnerships and go-to-market strategies. He spearheads initiatives to combat tailgating, enhance anti-spoofing and ensure biometric systems scale securely, cementing RealSense as a trusted name in global security. Under his leadership, RealSense is redefining facial authentication with faster, more secure access control systems for applications across airports, retail, banking and more.
Previously, Rond led the AI and Computer Vision group, providing deep learning solutions to business units within Intel, such as biometrics, healthcare, robotics, Xverse and 3D reconstruction.
As lead in the Access Control Segment, he rebuilt RealSense ID into a globally competitive product known for its precision, affordability and power efficiency. His team’s breakthrough work earned industry-wide acclaim, winning both the “Best in Biometrics” and “Best in Mobile Solutions” awards at the 2025 ISC West and SIA New Product Showcase for the BioAffix Gate Vision and Vision Mobile solutions, developed in partnership with Ones Technology.
With a career spanning video encoding (H.264), image processing, AI innovation and software architecture, design, and implementation, Rond brings deep technical expertise and entrepreneurial drive. A frequent speaker at top-tier conferences, such as ISC West, Intersec Dubai and TSE XForum, he is shaping the global conversation on the future of secure identity.
