Live demos with RealSense D457 GMSL depth cameras and Lexmark’s Ask Optra Anything highlight scalable multimodal perception and deployable edge inference
Taipei, Taiwan — March 3, 2026 — AVerMedia Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of application-ready physical AI turnkey solutions, will present two live demonstrations at NVIDIA GTC 2026 showcasing multi-camera 3D perception and real-time edge inference workflows powered by NVIDIA Jetson Thor. The demos highlight validated hardware and software stacks that simplify sensor scaling, reduce integration risk, and enable low-latency perception and inference for robotics and smart infrastructure.
Featured Demo 1 — Instant Multi-Camera 3D Perception
In this demonstration, AVerMedia will showcase a turnkey multi-camera 3D perception system using the AVerMedia D331 carrier board built on NVIDIA Jetson Thor module to power up to eight synchronized RealSense D457 GMSL depth cameras running NVIDIA Isaac ROS and the RealSense SDK, providing a validated path to high-throughput multi-camera perception on the Jetson Thor platform.
Built on robotics-grade GMSL architecture, the pre-integrated hardware-and-software stack delivers the bandwidth and low latency required for reliable, real-time 3D sensing, with planned support for RealSense USB and PoE cameras.
By removing the complexity of camera synchronization and sensor scaling, the demo shows how teams can shorten integration time and reduce deployment risk.
Featured Demo 2 — Convert PoE Cameras into AI Endpoints
In the second demonstration, AVerMedia will showcase the new AVerMedia Inference Station (launching Q2 2026) — a turnkey appliance built on NVIDIA Jetson Thor that brings real-time AI inference to existing PoE camera fleets without replacing cameras.
The system includes Lexmark’s Ask Optra Anything (AOA) service, which leverages NVIDIA vLLM pipelines to deliver multi-stream, city-scale inference with built-in AVerMedia’s Out-of-Band (OOB) management for remote monitoring and lifecycle control.
As a pre-integrated hardware-and-software stack, the AVerMedia Inference Station demonstrates how centralized inference transforms standard PoE cameras into intelligent endpoints, reducing deployment costs and rollout time while simplifying operations and maintenance.
“AVerMedia is committed to empowering the next generation of robotics with application-ready turnkey solutions that accelerate time-to-market. At NVIDIA GTC, we’re showing that commitment in action,” said Alex Liu, Vice President, Industrial Product Division at AVerMedia. “Our demos powered by NVIDIA Jetson Thor show how pre-integrated, validated hardware and software solutions — combined with ecosystem software and OOB management — shorten validation cycles and let developers move beyond prototyping to reliable, deployable edge systems faster.”
