Mark Yahiro is a seasoned business leader with a track record of incubating and scaling emerging technologies and structuring high-impact strategic partnerships. As the VP of business development at RealSense, Yahiro works closely with CEO Nadav Obrach to help the company scale by identifying and securing the right key strategic partners to drive expansion and sustainable, high-impact growth.
Yahiro spent nearly 15 years at Intel, holding multiple leadership positions focused on business incubation, strategic partnerships and emerging technologies. Most recently, he served as general manager of the RealSense business, overseeing Intel’s computer vision and autonomous mobile robotics initiatives. In addition, he led Intel’s Incubation and Disruptive Innovation Group, developing the company’s first formal incubator and spearheading ventures that scaled into billion-dollar opportunities. His team launched and funded groundbreaking AI-driven solutions, including technologies connecting deaf and hearing communities through AI.
Earlier in his Intel career, Yahiro led strategic business development for the Client Computing Group (CCG), focusing on perceptual computing and speech-enabled solutions. He later played a pivotal role in building the RealSense portfolio, driving strategic investments, alliances and M&A efforts in collaboration with Intel Capital. Prior to Intel, Yahiro led all marketing and business development for display technology start-up PureDepth Inc., which went public in 2008 with a $400 million market valuation. A champion of disruptive innovation, Yahiro spearheaded the first web-based transaction with Pizza Hut in the early days of the internet and launched the first web and broadcast simulcast of “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” during the Web 2.0 era.
Yahiro earned a B.S. in software engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago (Tau Beta Pi National Honor Society in Engineering) and his MBA in international business from DePaul University (Delta Mu Delta National Honor Society in Business Administration).
